Where Is Gold Canyon AZ?

Follow hwy 60 east past Mesa & Apache Junction exits & you will enter the community of Gold Canyon. There are 4 roads turning north (toward the Superstition Mountains) that comprise the housing developments of residential Gold Canyon.

The first is Superstition Blvd. Several family developments on either side of this beautifully landscaped boulevard offer a wide range of prices. $125,000 to $2 to $3 million dollar homes in the gated community of Superstition Mountain with a private club house & 2 top rated golf courses. The Superstition Foothills family communities are also located off of Superstition Blvd on the west side & follow a horseshoe pattern to Golden Rim on the top & King’s Ranch Road down the east side. On this corner is also a shopping plaza with Basha’s grocery, restaurants, dentist, dry cleaners, UPS store etc.

The second street is Mountainbrook Drive. This active adult 55+ community of approximately 1680 homes has many amenities and well designed homes ranging from $150,000 to $400,000. The campus of recreational buildings includes library & activity office, workout room, billiards room, pottery & ceramic studio, 2 pools & hot tub, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, Superstition Center (has stage for plays, concerts, dances & entertainment) the Sunset for cards and social gatherings.

The third is Kings Ranch Road. Many of our services, restaurants, retail, health care are located here. Housing developments are in a wide range of prices.. Starter homes, empty nester downsizers, town homes, casitas, condos plus impressive, large homes with full mountain views. New developments are opening at the north edge of Kings Ranch & along Don Donnelly Trail which connects this road along the rim with Superstition Blvd.

Peralta Trails is the fourth road. A gated family development with many homes, a grade school, soothing country atmosphere. This development has great hiking paths.
